Units
- Unit 1: Congruence, Proof, and Constructions
Transformations in the plane, rigid motions, congruence, triangle congruence criteria, proofs about lines, angles, triangles and parallelograms, constructions. - Unit 2: Similarity, Proof, and Trigonometry
Dilations and similarity, similarity criteria, proving theorems with similarity, right-triangle trigonometry, the Pythagorean theorem, applications. - Unit 3: Extending to Three Dimensions
Volume formulas and their justification, cross-sections, rotations of two-dimensional objects, modelling with solids, density. - Unit 4: Connecting Algebra and Geometry Through Coordinates
Coordinate proofs, slope criteria for parallel and perpendicular lines, distance and partitioning segments, the equation of a circle and a parabola. - Unit 5: Circles With and Without Coordinates
Similarity of circles, inscribed angles, radii and chords, tangents, arc length and sectors, areas, equations of circles. - Unit 6: Applications of Probability
Sample spaces, independence, conditional probability, two-way tables, the addition rule, using probability to make decisions.
How it works
Choosing this curriculum creates a course in Chalkset with one study set per unit and the exam date set to the start of the next testing window. Each unit is drilled card by card, and the review queue brings back what you miss. Questions for each unit are written by the agent when you open it, from the published objectives.
